IWG Launches Multi-Province Progressive Jackpot

Turbo Jackpots now live for players across nine Canadian provinces

Instant Win Gaming (IWG), congratulates Atlantic Lottery, British Columbia Lottery Corporation, Ontario Lottery & Gaming, and Loto-Québec on their launch of the first multi-provincial eInstant progressive jackpot.

The linked program, branded Turbo Jackpots in English and Cagnotte Turbo in French, is available on select eInstant games across nine Canadian provinces that include British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Ontario, Québec, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island.

The first eInstant game linked to Turbo Jackpots is titled Cash Blast in English and Explosion d’argent réaction in French. Each of the lotteries launched this first eInstant in conjunction with a retail instant game that shares the same branding and themes, and that cross promotes the online game.

Turbo Jackpots elevates the eInstant experience by providing players the chance to win multimillion dollar prizes. The prize pool is funded by designated eInstants from each participating lottery, which contribute a small percentage of sales to the progressive jackpots.

IWG serves as the jackpot manager and administrates the settlement of jackpot prize monies across the participating lotteries.
Powered by IWG’s InstantJackpots, all functionality is contained within IWG’s InstantRGS (remote game server) and no development support was required by the iLottery platform providers for the participating lotteries.

The launch of IWG’s Turbo Jackpots in Canada follows the success of IWG’s Mega Money Jackpots in the U.S., which now includes participation from the Kentucky Lottery, New Hampshire Lottery, Pennsylvania Lottery, and Virginia Lottery. The North Carolina Lottery is scheduled to join later this year. Mega Money Jackpots continues to break U.S. iLottery records, with a Virgina Lottery player recently winning $5.8 million.
