InstantBoost lets lotteries configure in-game actions that can be taken by players to enhance their game play. In-game actions are determined by the lottery during IWG’s configuration of a game. Examples include purchase at specified price point, play on specified day-of-week, scanning a QR code from a retail ticket, etc. And examples of resulting boost-features include revealing additional win combinations, activating new prize tiers, updating game visuals, etc.

Lotteries that have released games with InstantBoost features include Virginia Lottery, New Hampshire Lottery, Michigan Lottery and the Atlantic Lottery Corporation. New Hampshire Lottery’s Premier Jackpot, for example, let players unlock an additional row of symbols to match, plus activate eligibility to win a progressive jackpot prize by choosing to play at the $2 price point.
